You are on the vierge of buying a new home. This involves a large amount om money with long-term consequences. The deed may also contain things that you have never considered.
It is common for the seller or his broker to draw up the deed of sale. As nice as it may be, their interests come first and not that of the buyer. As a buyer, you are on your own and can therefore use some help.
It’s important to realize that under Dutch law a private purchase is only final when there is a signed deed. Before signing, you always have the opportunity to negotiate the content of the deed. Even after signing, as a buyer, you still have a reflection period of three days in which you can cancel the agreement.
